The Executive Committee for Occupational Safety and Health in the GCC convened its second meeting on Wednesday morning, 26 November 2025, via videoconferencing, with the participation of representatives from the Ministries of Labour in the member states. The meeting discussed the next steps for implementing the initiatives and programs outlined in the Gulf Framework for Occupational Safety and Health, in accordance with the decision adopted by the GCC Ministers of Labour at their eleventh meeting held in Kuwait.

Participants reviewed the approved implementation mechanisms and the distribution of initiatives among member states, in addition to discussing the proposed timelines and other emerging matters, with the participation of the Executive Bureau and the General Secretariat of the GCC.
