Executive Bureau Participates in Developing the Gulf Anti-Drug Strategy (2025-2028)

Executive Bureau is participating in the workshop on developing the Gulf Anti-Drug Strategy (2025-2028), organized by the UAE Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the GCC General Secretariat and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), from September 16-19, 2024.
The workshop brings together experts and stakeholders from various vital sectors involved in combating drugs, including ministries of interior, justice, health, education, social affairs, media, news agencies, customs and ports authorities, the Criminal Information Center for Drug Control, representatives of anti-money laundering committees, and representatives of border guards and coast guards in the GCC countries.
This partnership aims to build a unified Gulf model, the first of its kind in the region, that adopts best practices in combating drugs and to develop a unified strategy at the level of the GCC countries in accordance with UN standards, in order to enhance the security of Gulf communities and preserve their achievements.”
