The Executive Bureau of the Council of Ministers of Labour and Social Affairs in GCC States organized a high-level coordination meeting on the sidelines of the 113th Session of the International Labour Conference, held in Geneva, Switzerland.

The meeting was chaired by the State of Kuwait, represented by Dr. Fahad Al-Murad, Acting Deputy Director General for the Labor Protection Sector, alongside H.E. Mr. Mohammed bin Hassan Al-Obaidli, Director General of the Executive Bureau, and with the participation of official delegations from the GCC labour ministries.

The meeting served as a key platform to enhance coordination among the GCC delegations participating in the Conference, and to align their positions regarding the agenda items of the 113th session, reflecting a unified GCC voice in international organizations.

Discussions also covered ways to strengthen and advance joint Gulf cooperation in the field of labour, reaffirming the Executive Bureau’s strategic role in providing technical and logistical support to GCC labour ministries and ensuring their impactful presence in key international forums.

This meeting comes as part of the Executive Bureau’s ongoing efforts to support GCC integration in social and developmental issues and to elevate the region’s collective voice in global labour dialogue.
