Executive Bureau participated in the first meeting of the working group on the privileges granted to persons with disabilities in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The meeting was organized by the General Secretariat of the GCC, represented by the Human and Environmental Affairs Sector, Department of Labor and Social Affairs, and was held via video conferencing on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. It was attended by a number of specialists from the ministries of social affairs/development and disability authorities across the GCC countries.

During the meeting, the general privileges granted to persons with disabilities that can be utilized at the GCC level were also discussed, along with determining the appropriate mechanism for their implementation.
