The Executive Bureau – Council of Ministers of Labour & Ministers of Social Affairs in GCC (EB-GCC) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) discussed ways to further develop their strategic partnership and expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

During a meeting between H.E. Mohammed bin Hassan AL-Obaidli, GM of the Executive Bureau, and Dr. Ruba Jaradat, ILO Regional Director for Arab States, the two sides reviewed ongoing areas of cooperation and the joint programmes implemented during the previous period.

The meeting also addressed the development of a joint programme of work aimed at sustaining existing initiatives, increasing the pace of cooperation, and advancing new programmes that support the priorities of GCC countries in the fields of labour and social protection.
