356th Session of the ILO Governing Body

The agenda of the 356th Session of the ILO Governing Body covers a comprehensive range of institutional, policy, legal and administrative matters, including approval of previous minutes, preparations for the International Labour Conference, and reviews of strategies on gender equality and the elimination of violence and harassment in the world of work. It also addresses complaints and follow-up procedures concerning the application of international labour standards in several member States. The Governing Body will consider initiatives to strengthen labour standards in supply chains, the ILO Development Cooperation Strategy, and the promotion of the Tripartite Declaration on Multinational Enterprises. In addition, the agenda includes legal matters related to delegation of authority and the standards review mechanism, as well as programme and budget implementation, oversight and audit reports, human resources strategy, and broader financial and governance issues affecting the Organization’s institutional performance.
